An app to manage your migraine? New study needs you!

What do you think of using smartphone apps to help you manage migraines?

Researchers at the University of Southampton are interested in how smartphone apps can be used to help improve people's migraines. This is a master's dissertation project that is based on understanding your views and experiences with smartphone applications. The only requirement is that you have a smartphone, all these applications will be introduced to you to understand what you think, so having previous experience with migraine applications is not required.

If you would like to take part in the study, you will join a discussion group of 4-6 people who also experience migraines, or if you would prefer be interviewed one on one, at the University of Southampton. This study will start by showing you a set of migraine applications with the opportunity for you to discuss what you think about them and the different features they use. This will take approximately one hour and the discussion will be recorded and later on transcribed. (transcriptions will not include your name or any other information that will identify you).

By taking part in the study, you will be providing valuable information which will help shape and improve the way in which migraine applications are developed in the future. So if this sounds like something you are interested in, please get in contact with Migraine Action today at info@migraine.org.uk.
