Community events
As a member of the community, you will probably be familiar with the fun days that take place in your local area throughout the spring, summer and autumn months: regular fetes, car boot sales, garage sales or general community fundraising activities. We are delighted to support community based groups or individuals who plan to undertake a fundraising activity or event, and we would be delighted to display your achievements on our website and in our newsletter. Don't be shy, let us know, and we will do everything we can to support your event.
Alternatively, you may prefer to undertake a sponsored event. Are you a keen runner or do you enjoy riding your bicycle? Some supporters are keen to organise a sponsored swim to support Migraine Action, whilst other supporters like to undertake a sponsored walk for a good cause. Some of our Trustees even run regularly to support our charity. Perhaps you would jump out of an aeroplane, go white water rafting or abseil down a mountain? Fundraising events are fun so please let me know what you plan to do, when and where it will happen, then we can include it on our forthcoming events calendar. Have a look at past fundraising events; you may get some good ideas.
Are you a member of a community group? A Rotarian or member of the W.I.? We are supported locally by the Round Table, Inner Wheel and Church fundraising groups. Perhaps you play golf and would make Migraine Action your supported Charity of the year? There are so many opportunities, just ask for more information from Migraine Action.
