I was pleased to respond to a recent appeal for potential trustees in the April 2009 edition of Challenging Migraine. My wife and family are used to dad 'going off with a migraine': fortunately Zomig usually gets me better within a couple of hours.
My background is as an administration manager with a high street bank, when I had a group of staff and met customers, before call centres and an on line presence became established. Hopefully financial and management skills will be of use to Migraine Action. For many years, I enjoyed being a governor for a church school and in recent years continue with the professional role of Clerk to the Governors for a secondary school in Poole. These positions should also contribute to my trustee function.
Since school days, I have always enjoyed music and presently sing as a tenor with Wimborne Choral Society. Genealogy is a compulsive hobby, tracing my ancestors back to the mid eighteenth century.
