Migraine Action will be hosting a Migraine Education day in Reading on Saturday 17th April 2010.
This is an excellent opportunity for people with migraine in the region and their family and friends to hear from expert speakers, share experiences with others affected and ask questions.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Dr Andy Dowson, Director of Headache Services at King's College Hospital, London will be discussion acute and preventative treatments
- Dr Saul Berkovitz, Consultant Physician at the Royal London Homeopathic Hosptial will be discussing complementary options for migraine
There will also be a choice of workshops including:
- Hormonal issues and headache for women - Dr Dowson
- Complementary therapies: risks, benefits and finding a complementary practitioner - Dr Berkovitz
- Chiropractic for migraine - Andy Green from Reflex Chiropractic Clinic in Caversham, Reading
- Nutrition for migraine - Carol Bullock from Why Nutrition
