Migraine Action is looking for an experienced, self motivated and highly organised person who can build the fundraising function within the Association, and is ready to step into a senior management role as Head of Fundraising / Deputy Director.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering our national fundraising strategy, with a proven record in securing agreed target income from trusts, foundations, statutory and corporate partnerships. A good working knowledge of funding sources for the health sector and experience in preparing and submitting targeting grant applications is desirable.

The candidate will demonstrate proven office management skills, experience of motivating a small professional team and an ability to deliver quality services to the membership. Deputising for the Director whilst representing the organisation to all stakeholders: members, the public and the media, will be key.

An entrepreneurial spirit, the candidate will have personality and confidence to build lasting relationships at all levels and be able to inspire supporters with innovative ways to contribute the charity's ongoing work and ambitious plans for the future.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time

Position: Deputy Director/Head of Fundraising

Salary: £28-32K*

*£28-32K with % annual performance related bonus

Location: Based at Migraine Action's office in Leicester city centre
