Speakers and workshop topics for our education day in Nottingham on Saturday 27th March are now confirmed.

The agenda is as follows:

9.30am            Arrival and registration

9.50am            Welcome and introduction

10.00am          Acute treatments - Dr Manuela Fontebasso, York Headache Clinic

11.00am          Comfort break

11.15am          Preventative treatments - Dr Sue Lipscombe, Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton

12.15pm          Lunch

1.00 pm           Workshop session 1: Choose from Hormonal issues and headache for women with Dr Manuela Fontebasso or Medication overuse with specialist headache nurse, Jill Murphy, from York Headache Clinic

1.50pm            Room change

2.00pm            Workshop session 2: Choose from Treatment and self help for migraine from a physical therapy perspective with Clifford Lomas or a Managing your migraine discussion workshop with Dr Sue Lipscombe

2.50pm            Question and answer session and closing remarks

3.00pm            Close

The day is suitable for people with migraine or anyone with an interest in the condition, such as family members.

Pre-booking is essential and attendance costs just £10 per person to include lunch and refreshments.

Come along to this friendly and informative day to pick up many tips on managing your migraine.
