Skydive for Migraine Action

Do a charitySkydive

Do you want to take on the exhilarating and unforgettable feeling of a skydive, flying through the clouds from over 10, 000 ft at up to 120mph?

All you need to do is raise £395 in sponsorship money in order to take part and in return we will receive an average donation of £140 with everything you raise above your minimum target coming directly to us too!

What is it like?

Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 ft - the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears with only the outline of distant fields below. Now imagine

leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go - falling forward into the clouds, diving

Skydive for charity Migraine Action

down through the air as you start freefalling at over 120mph! Then imagine the peace and quiet as the canopy opens, the steering toggles come down either side of you and you begin a tranquil parachute descent from a mile up in the air, steering yourself back down to the centre of the drop zone below. Imagine being able to do this for FREE whilst harnessed to a professional freefall parachute instructor and at the same time being able to help Migraine Action and all those affected by migraine in the UK! It's time to stop imagining, and be part of it...

- Jump and training completed in one day

- Harnessed to an experienced parachute instructor at all times

- Jump from at least 10,000 ft - just like the professionals!

- Freefall down to 5,000 ft - falling through the air at 120 mph!

- Ride the parachute down to the ground - you will be taught how to steer onto the drop zone

- Landing controlled by your instructor

- Certificate to prove that you have completed a ‘two-mile high’ Tandem Skydive!

Taking on TrekFest is no mean feat, but the challenge is simple  – a specific   distance every trekker aims to complete within the allocated time

Adventure into the beautiful English countryside, push yourself to the limit, whilst knowing that your hardwork is helping to support those affected by migraine all over the UK.

You can register as a team made up of   work colleagues, family or friends to  support each other, or sign up as one of the many individuals who take on the   challenge. Either way you will be supported  by the Trek Fest team all the way, with  marshalled check  points, complimentary fruit, energy snack bars, water, energy drinks, tea, coffee, etc; plus hot food for those of you taking on the larger distances.

      Trek Fest is tough…

there’s no getting  away from that fact – but it is  achievable, as thousands of trekkers  over the last three years will testify to.

Yes, it hurts; yes, it will push you;

yes, there are moments when you will  doubt yourself –

BUT, you can and will succeed with the right physical training and mental preparation.

All the support you need...
The great thing about doing a Trek Fest event is the support you will receive from the Trek Fest team. Roam the countryside knowing that there will be medics travelling around the route in support vehicles and the First Aid point will be located at The  TrekFest Village and at various check points en-route to help if  you need them.

In 2016 Trek Fest will be taking place in the Beacons and the Peaks. As soon as you sign up to your chosen event, Trek Fest will be there to help support you - from helping you know what kit you  will need and how best to  train for your event, to an information day and discounts on equipment.

Migraine Action will behind you every step of the way! As soon as you sign up we will help you to  raise  awareness for your event and help you have those funds rolling in.

If you would like further information on the events taking place in 2017
